The Bridegroom Icon
Great Lent begins Sunday night for all Orthodox and Eastern Catholics. We will be preparing for the Bridegroom of our hearts, Jesus Christ. May we be filled with the desire to serve Him, to love Him, to be His hands in the world today, and be willing to undergo penance, abstinence, and fasting in order to be closer to Him, our true Beloved.
